About the Event
As we move from the Menstrual Health Month towards Pride Month 2020, which commemorates years of struggle for civil rights and the ongoing pursuit of equal justice under the law for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, as well as the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ individuals, join us for an engaging discussion on the intersectionality of the two issues, deepdiving into inclusivity during periods.
Moderated by Pragya Roy, a feminist activist and the content editor at Feminism In India, the session will have Durga Gawde, Sculptor, Educator, Activist and India's first performing drag king and Vyjayanti Vasanta Mogli, Transgender RTI Activist & Co-founder, Queer Swabhimana Yatra (QSY) & Telangana Hijra Intersex Transgender Samiti (THITS) as our esteemed speakers discussing
